Sad, but inevitable

Probably not a good idea to make a joke out of an accident in which 3 people died.

I realise it was very sad, but driving on the wrong side of the road for "a couple of miles" is just retarded. It's not even like she was French, the article says she was local!

Three people have been killed in an accident on the A38 in Plymouth after reports a car was seen driving the wrong way along the carriageway.

Police said evidence pointed to a car, driven by a woman, being on the wrong side of the road for a couple of miles.

Fixed

I always wonder how people end up on the wrong side of dual carriageways etc. It must be pretty hard to do imo:confused:

Regardless, it's still inappropriate to make a joke out of it imo.

If we were to mourn every death that happened on our planet, we would be mourning twenty four hours a day.
Not mourning, just showing a bit of basic respect to other people and any family affected.

So what do you do, hit your daily mourn quota then the rest are fair game for ridicule?

What's the inevitable part?

That someone would let a woman behind the wheel of a car...

I've found that generally most women can be guided with phrases such as "Go socialise, woman" or perhaps "Clean the dishes, woman" but you just can't GIVE a woman skills that she can NEVER posess through verbal instructions.

I'm not mourning, nor do I feel any sense of personal loss from this story. That doesn't mean I'm going to use it to try and get a cheap laugh.

This is excellent advice if having your nostril hair plucked with tweezers very slowly is your end objective ;) It's all about taking the initiative :D

And you get the Man Of Honour title with remarks like that?

Now that's the real joke.
