at the end of the day he was one of the few people on this earth that deserved to die (but by no menas the worst), but it will change nothing! Probably make it worse and cause more suffering if anything.
I would much rather have seen him put in a horrific foreign prison, and have the **** kicked out of him for the rest of his days. Surely there is a fair few life sentances for what he has done? They let him off easy IMO.

I have no problem whatsoever with Saddam swinging for his crimes. I have a big problem with the way so called justice has been carried out. There was clearly no independence during the trial and the sentence was carried out by hired thugs in a very unprofessional manner, rather than a state appointed, non-partisan group. If that is the way we do things then we are no better than he was.

As I have said before, justice isn't always about revenge, in cases like this, recording the attrocities so that we can learn from them is crucial. This wasn't achieved because they railroaded one case in an effort to bring about a quick verdict.

It would have been much better if they had just shot him as he hid in his hole.

I just found the mobile phone footage but couldn't watch all of it, watched up until the noose then turned it off.

Watched the footage but it was crap quality tbh.

I certainly hope his neck didn't break straight after the fall, and he suffered choking slowly to death !

Why? That makes you as sick as him. He deserved to die but I still think he deserved to die with at least some dignity just like any man does! After all he was the leader of a nation.
