London is amazing when you are young. I moved there in 93 when I was 22 and the next 18 years were incredible! Lived mainly in North London around Camden/Kentish area. The problem for me was just the price of housing, I wanted to buy and should have when I first moved there but I was too busy raving every weekend. In the end I moved just outside the M25 and bought 12 years ago. I do feel for the generation in their early 20s, I don't see how they will ever be able to afford to buy in London unless they are on mega money. Yes it has some **** hole areas, what major city doesn't but when its good its amazing.
I don't see how the housing price issue will be solved unless they build up. I don't mean 20 story buildings but 6/8 story ones. Even then its never going to be cheap.
