Sadiq Khan’s ‘affordable’ homes include £2,400-

Wait. You post that but want to go and live in spain? Are you looking to rent?

Also you didnt even bother to read the article in your own whinge thread.
Rules can always be changed. that is no excuse.
You know, whole residential buildings are purchased by foreign investment companies.

That is only financial, and for links to other cities. But truly a dump of a city, and I live in one of the best parts and still think it is a dump.

Milton Keynes will be a step up for both you and the people you leave behind in London. Or was that 'your, uh friend' who was moving there?

e: post #27 beat me to it :(

London is amazing when you are young. I moved there in 93 when I was 22 and the next 18 years were incredible! Lived mainly in North London around Camden/Kentish area. The problem for me was just the price of housing, I wanted to buy and should have when I first moved there but I was too busy raving every weekend. In the end I moved just outside the M25 and bought 12 years ago. I do feel for the generation in their early 20s, I don't see how they will ever be able to afford to buy in London unless they are on mega money. Yes it has some **** hole areas, what major city doesn't but when its good its amazing.

I don't see how the housing price issue will be solved unless they build up. I don't mean 20 story buildings but 6/8 story ones. Even then its never going to be cheap.

I am also against residential buildings just being bought as investments, especialy in this present state.

If you look at Khans statements about affordable homes you would see he is trying to be better than Boris was.
