so you save it on the USB but don't keep a copy on your HD? or you actually work on the USB version.I always use it.

I have a mate who works in ICT in Newcastle college and I asked him what the most IT common problem was.
He said "Students removing their USB sticks incorrectly and losing their data".
I still remove all my stuff incorrectly though except my IPOD.
I used to pull out prematurely because I didn't want my fat PC to bear my documents. Now I unload inside my slim laptop.

Sometimes though Windows give a message it can't stop the USB stick now and that is the cue to jank it out of the USB connector![]()
