Sainsburys

I'll respond to your post with a collection of quotes I have produced within this thread. A sort of photo reel of fond memories that make me feel warm and fuzzy inside and you, it would seem, would rather forget:

And you, I assume Mr Perfect have never done anything slightly wrong in your life in order to gain something ? You've never downloaded anything you shouldn't have, even an MP3, you've never copied anything, you've never parked illegally, you've never gone over the speed limit when you're in a rush, you never touched a drop of alcohol before your 18th birthday etc etc. We're not discussing a mass robbery or "bludgeoning" somebody, we're talking about some damn e-vouchers. Get a grip man.

Delivery guy been and gone. He said that all the other orders this evening had been canceled because they wouldn't give them the discount. When they called me I said to just charge me full price as most of it was a shop I had to do anyway. So overall they probably haven't lost much due to the discounts, but I bet the lost business in wasted delivery slots has caused some damage.

Tescos had a similar thing last year... 3 out of my 5 orders were heavily discounted, whereas the other 2 were charged at full price... I wasn't too fussed - I ended up saving over £20 :)

Strange thing is, they have cancelled my order in the store but the account on Sainsburysytoyou still has the order as valid and ready to deliver at 3pm today??

There is absolutely nothing in the terms and conditions that prevents this. Only the terms given with the voucher could shed some light and since none of us have them there isn't much point in arguing.

Vouchers are non-transferable and can only be used with the Sainsbury's Groceries Online service

Which means if you weren't personally issued the voucher, it's not valid (unless it's a general promotion, which it clearly isn't)

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I don't think I'm doing anything wrong: when I made the orders, I was prepared to pay full price if required. If they choose to honour the vouchers then that's their choice, and I'll be more happy than I would paying full whack of course! :)

PS: I bought my Christmas tree today, and I was charged for the wrong type of tree. I got what should have been a £69.95 tree for £45.95...which I think is a good omen! :D

I've just been told that it's on the Radio 1 news about thousands of customers saving £43 off Sainsburys online shopping because of a computer glitch!
I've got my delivery coming between 10-12 this morning, so we'll see what happens :).

Apparently this was announced on Radio 4 this morning, no more mistakes will be made is the quote I think.

My order is still booked for tomorrow, it remains to be seen if my local store has been briefed or not, if they ask me to pay full price however I shall as it's already budgeted for.

Too many selfish people about

TBH, you can think what you want, but i don't give a pony what anyone else thinks. If it works, it works and that a goal to me, if it don't then i am not gonna cry about it. God knows why you lot are getting all hyper over it. Its sainsburys problem not yours.
