*** Saints Row 2 - Official Thread ***

Well, my Saints fun is temporarily on hold :(. Having had to contact the company I purchased the collectors edition from again today, they rather unsurprisingly wanted the standard copy sent back :(. They have however allegedly re-sent the CE to me today, but I'll likely not see it until mid-week.
 
How do you buy shops then? I havent really done much in the game only the first few missions and then just been doing some activities, killing gangsters and such :D
 
I see that not only can you replay the side quests but in the cribs you can replay all of the story missions, via the newspaper clipboard.

For replayability, it has put the cherry on the cake :cool:

ah ok. I presume that comes with playing the main game then :) at the minute ive been doing the chop shop missions, and just completed level 6 of the Fuzz for the Kobra and unlimited ammo :D

really enjoying this game now, some of the comments from various people and shop keepers is brilliant, one of my favs when buying a load of jewellry was "I dont like all this gang banging game, but I sure do love your money" :D
 
Hitman missions are taking a long long time for all lists! :D

But fight club was great fun, I've been putting off crowd control cause people have said its really good fun, might go try that now :D

thats the one I was going to try tonight Fight Club sounds fun, anyone done the escort missions what are they like? Also what activities unlocks the unlimited sprint?
 
Escort was a laugh, but got too annoying on 5 and 6.

Unlimited sprint is insurance fraud, I can't remember which, I think near the middle of the actual map.

Im really not getting the hang of Insurance fraud yet, ive had a few goes but finding it a little annoying and each go is taking me a few attempts to pass :(

edit - anyone up for getting some of the co op achievements, im home from work a week on wednesday so will be back on XBL :)

Easy tip for the insurance fraud one is just get on the freeway and get clattered by the trucks. Really easy, thats how I passed them all first time.

Go to the area where you get your bonus, activate it and try and hit the fastest cars and get thrown for miles and miles!


Just finished this game... Well, the missions. CBA to do it 100%. Gonna flog it and still get a good price for it hopefully :)

Ohh and don't forget to do the secret mission at the end ;)

Also, if its like the first SR you get multipliers for using a cop car and for the amount of witnesses that see you go flying.

I only picked this game up tonight so I can't say for sure if this is still the case.
 
I can't get the hang of the insurance fraud one either....On the first level I go to the place by car, on the map which is supposed to give me a bonus. However the only way I can rack up money is to drive head on into vehicles. If i just run infront of trucks/cars etc I go flying, but no cash?! It also says press "LB" or "X" to jump infront of cars, which I press, but nothing happens....:(
 
I've found and completed it now.

After finishing it, I have to say... What a bloody fantastic game. I had so so much fun all of the way through it. The weapons are awesome, the vehicles are awesome... But the two best things for me are the characters (namely Johnny :D) and the cut scenes. Some of the cut scenes were just SO awesome, I really felt like I was part of an action film and the character customisation just added to that. I genuinely felt like I was part of the storyline and I have to say, it did that better than GTA:IV.

Easily 10/10 for me, I haven't had this much fun playing a game through since Call of Duty 4. :D :cool:

I just wish I'd played the first game through first so all of the storyline meant more to me.

Agree so much more fun then GTA IV. :)
