Very sad. For some reason when I was young, I was really excited about the naff Channel 4 (?) release of Merlin, which Sam starred in, so I always think of that when I see him. But of course, there's also Jurassic Park, Event Horizon, Peaky Blinders and many more. RIP.
 
Very sad. A friend's young niece asked if he was killed by a dinosaur (no lie). Children do have a way...

Brilliant actor. RIP :(
 
This is really sad, he was in so many of my favourite films and by all accounts a wonderful person.
 
Just seen he had died and came here to say my favourite film he was in was the underrated Event Horizon. But reading through this thread it might not be underrated on these forums.

Such a shame.
 
RIP - he really did shine in everything he did. I remember him saying in a an interview after diagnosis that he wasn't afraid of death but it would annoy him.
 
Jsut seent the news..man....this one hits hard. Always came acorss as a genuine one in that business. God damn it, so sad.
 
Such sad news to wake up to today, "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" is one of my favourite films, RIP :(
