Samsung Diagnostic Software

Hi Guys,

I've got a laptop here with a Samsung 320GB HD in there which for some reason couldn't find the OS on boot up. On further inspection with Acronis DiskDirector it appeared that the partitions had been marked as deleted.

I want to perform some tests on the drive before I hand the laptop back, is there Samsung Software similar to the SeaTools for Seagate drives?

Seatools will work fine for your drive regardless of brand, only won't repair non Seagate drives.. Haven't kept abreast of the situation with samsungs laptop drives but it might all be Seagate now anyhow.

Samsung's version is called ES Tool.
