Looked fine when I posted. What's the issue, is there a specific problem or just the usual noob issues? JPO installed and rooted and it's all good for me. GPS is spot on and its smoother than JP6. I notice the browser is using quite a bit less memory with flash over JP6/JPM.

EDIT: Is it the "GT-I9000_I9000XXJPO_I9000XXJPP_CODE-MODEM_OSP-MID.7z"? Its a corrupted package. Yeah go with the Kies file direct JPO_JPO_U_JPP.tar, no need to repartition if your last partition was 512.

Hi guys!

I'm on JPM Froyo atm and i'm not happy...having some issues with lag even though I have lag fixed. Never had the problem on 2.1..going to upgrade to another rom when I get time. Can anyone advise if its the same update method through Odin? Also I really cba to have to reinstall all my apps, is there a work around?

Also someone please recommend me a 2.2 rom/firmware?

On a side note, I have a DHD coming tomorrow and I'm going to sell it and keep my SGS. Wise choice?

The rom above I am using and its pretty good I to had a DHD but for me it wasn't really much of a upgrade over the SGS and the screen looks terrible compared but it was a nice big screen though.

Darky's is way better also it seems the JPO one is the best v7.5 there also, I would advise you installing JPO_V7_Doc_Dena_Theme its a really nice theme and looks better, my only thing is the battery indicator doesn't drop for some reason.

I'm trying to decide which ROM to install. Why do you prefer Darky's? It get a bit confusing reading up on the xda forums

Also, as I'm on a stock 2.1 firmware I guess already have the "recovery 2e" required?

Meh i didn't mean darky lol I meant docs, not sure on the recover 2e when I had this phone off me bro it had it on but I had already put a custom 2.1 theme on it for him months ago.

That is docs, JPO seems to be the choice so far, and after I installed the Doc_Dena_theme looks nice.

It's not a theme or rom. Its a totally different Touchwiz, you need a root, but just copy the modified one over the stock in the system/app folder. The rest is just the normal widgets and wallpaper.
