Samsung Galaxy S24 Family Thread

Quite decent, ordered earlier today and already showing preparing for despatch, when for the titanium black model for a change.

In the past the fancy colours always had delays plus none of the exclusive colours worked for me
 
I was considering getting a tempered glass screen protector but I think I'll just use the free antireflective film samsung are giving away.

I've only ever had a screen crack once in all my phones touch wood, and that was an unfortunate accident where it fell out of my coat pocket onto a very hard concrete floor. I actually did have it in a case, but it fell on the corner of the case, and the case didn't do anything to dull the impact, it just went straight through and caused a spider like crack out from the corner.

Yes the Exclusive colours are a bit poor this year. But I went for the Orange, hopefully it is orange, as I like some colour as I never use a case.
 
I finally managed to speak to Samsung customer services about my missing launch voucher - they offered to send the code for the £50 plus case and screen saver but I'd have to cancel my order to use it. I wasn't willing to do this as delivery would move to February so they've sent me a £60 voucher that expires in July, I'll keep it to use against a new Galaxy watch 7.

Yep always go for the exclusive colours, the red was quite nice and the green colour the year before .

Wasn't going to change this year , sold my s23u for £750 back in October after getting a good deal on it. Changed to a Pixel 8 pro which is good but feels like a bit of a step down from the s23U, cannot but my fingers on it but just doesn't feel quite as good .

Hopefully Samsung sort out shutter lag and colours are more accurate for the camera (not expecting it)

Still nothing here, I'm guessing I'm just never going to get it!

Anyway my order is also preparing to dispatch with delivery 24th. let's see if it stays that way!

I went for the red S22 Ultra that ended up being more pink/salmon, but I was fine with it! Mine ended up being one of the ones with non-functioning GPS so it got returned pre-14 days and I never bothered with another.

I went for grey this time as it's the closest colour to the natural titanium, and I fancied a more "white" phone after having so many black phones.

If I get bored I can always chuck a skin on it. It'll be in a transparent case anyway.

...do kinda wish I went for purple though! Can't go back now!

It was weird last year. IIRC it was 2 weeks until they were due to be delivered and a week into the pre orders, they put more stock on their website with earlier delivery dates. I canceled my pre order I did at launch with a deliver date of two weeks later and reordered with a delivery date of 2 days later and got it 2 days later! People that pre ordered on or just after the launch actually got it later than those that ordered it a week later!
