Samsung Galaxy S24 Family Thread

I tried the generative fill last night and sometimes thought it was a bit weird - I tried removing a person out an image for example and it random inserted an oil drum as a replacement :/
You should test what it uses as replacement for different people.
Might make for interesting family portrait... :p

Have seen example of it having removed car only to put concrete traffic barrier in its place.

New and more efficient screen on the S24 over the 23. So can't just put it all don't to new SoC.
So it's still possible that Exynos 2400 isn't really any more efficient than last year's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Are many of you using pay+?
I'm sticking with Google Pay as Samsung Pay doesn't support apps. At least Wetherspoon and McDonald's I've seen so far!

I've added Google Wallet to the side bar thingie so can access it relatively quickly, and can of course pay with a default card on tap as long as phone is unlocked.

Yes also signed up to premium, the benefits in cashback at 6 retailers of your choice makes up for it in itself, not to mention another stream of competitive rates and fee free cash withdrawals abroad on top of Revolut/Chase etc.

Any idea what the difference is with Samsung + Premium and Curve's own offerings?
Last time I tried Samsung Pay it wasn't possible to get the paid ones without cancelling the Samsung one and getting Curve instead, which all had to be done by contacting them.

The silliest generative fill I've had so far is trying to remove a fire alarm button off the wall. It kept replacing it with something else! I just wanted it gone! Ended up using Google's Magic Eraser instead!

The flat anti-reflective screen is just gorgeous, still impresses me every time I look at it

Oh damn, just saw the battery comparison video. That's quite and uptick from a phone that already had an excellent battery.

I submitted for the approval for buds and the tag, literally all approved in seconds.

I love have fast this s24 Ultra is, it's the first time I can say I've had a phone that feels FAST.

However I Really hope the screen saturation is going to be fixed and the camera improves.

I went with the 256GB Violet

Anyone else checked theirs for screen shift issue with the camera, known hardware defect, lo and beholds mine have it

I have something similar where the screen shifts sometimes when swapping between zoom levels, but are we even convinced it is an hardware issue? I checked the device info for my phone and it was manufactured early-mid january, well after the supposed faulty batch people were talking about....

Apparently it's not going to be fixed and it's as intended.

That's pathetic, to provide a more "natural" experience, that's what the NATURAL option is for, vivid is for those that was a less natural more vibrant warm look!

Screen wise maybe it takes time getting used to, but I don't really notice that this screen can get ultra bright, maybe it just works in sunlight, but I find it night or if it's a bit too low brightness on my S22 Ultra I could tolerate not so bright but I can't on this screen, I can't really put my finger on it maybe it's the contrast but it isn't good on the eyes.
