Samsung Galaxy S25 Family Thread

A boring update and the only real difference is round sides and a bit thinner.

I guess it's getting to stage like TV updates, I certainly don't upgrade them each year.

Am sticking with my S22U gone are the days when I want the latest and greatest.

For my daily needs this S22 ultra still holds up well.
Aye it's pretty underwhelming. I'm at the point where I'm just upgrading every 2 years just to maintain the phone value

I've pre-ordered the S25 256GB model as I don't need the larger screen and 256GB is enough storage for me, currently have a 256GB MicroSDXC card in my Samsung Galaxy A34 and still have 150GB free.

Is there not a free storage upgrade on the S25? There is on the S25+

Can only get S25+ down to £730 with trade in of S22+

But with basically nothing thrown in free (you can get a case and charger if you review the thing) but it's not feeling must have. hhmmm

Few things i've noticed.
12gb only, No 16gb.
few steps back S Pen without Bluetooth  why ? the only reason I use the S Pen is the bluetooth
The Same 200mp main Camera, 50mp telephoto, 12mp front
The Same 2600nits Peak Brightness
design mhh, what was the point of hiring a new designer ?

No sharp corners, but did the designers not consider sharp edges they ended up with ?

Poor discounts.
£50 - £150 + 10% off on app not even that good compared to last years deal
No online discount like the twitter one you normally get/

5months back

they have also put the price of the S24 up on the website.

Has anyone ordered the phone

I hope they get the worst sales in years, so offer a better deal or offer a better phone next year

This is the same reason i was considering a upgrade, but even the trading is messed up, I can get more if i had a 256gb model

I traded my S24 Ultra 1TB for the S25 Ultra 1TB Jetblack through the employee portal with the discount code for a total of £386.65 with the free buds.

I've got the same option and tempted but purely from preserving the value perspective as there seems very little difference from the S24.

I got £540 trade on on my 512gb S24U.

£50 voucher

So paid £650 .

Happy with that. A brand new top of the line phone for less than £700.

Not complaining
