This looks much nicer than the old smaller Tab.

I do like the iPad though, the Android tablets never feel quite as nice to use

The current Tab is nice and portable, this baby won't fit in a pocket. The new one just looks bigger. Which Android tablets have you used?

I also dont think Android holds up quite as well as iOS at the moment on tablets. I'm sure that will change though.

I actually saw a guy walking through London with a 7' Tab to his ear, looked a bit daft but at least it has phone capabilities!

Honeycomb with its multitasking raises the game for Android and will be a far more polished OS than the current versions which are not designed for tablets.

That bloke must have looked like a right plonker, he probably thought he was buying a phone.

I am a bit annoyed about the lack of USB, but the worse case scenario I can sync over wireless.

Google Talk has the video chat option I believe

I thought it had USB for PC conection through the charging port just like the Tab and it will be using the custom cable used in the Tab.

i notice the samsung tab (mark1) can be had for £250 now (so say hotukdeals)

That is supposed to be HMV but their online price hasn’t changed but you can now get them for less than £400.

Nothing as yet from Vodafone on date or pricing. All they have said is that they will launch the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the UK.

i think samsung should give you a discount if you buy this as well as there new phone, which is looking likely for me

when is the date for the sammy? im off to America in June, i presume it would be slightly cheaper for me to get one there?

Still no date from Vodafone UK and there's been nothing from the US. You will probably get it cheaper because knowing the UK it will be the pound equivalent of the dollar.

People have been saying bad things about the Xoom screen, so I may be forced to wait for the Tab. I really don't want to wait, but then again don't want to spend £700 and end up not being completely happy with the Xoom.

With iPad 2 rumoured to be launching tomorrow I wonder how the Tab 10.1 will now be priced.

I should have mentioned that that is the WiFi Only version, and Engadget have reported that it has now been pulled from the site.

It's now back at £499.99 and delivery on the 9th of April.
