Argh! June!
I know but it’s only 10 weeks away and if it's as good as we've just seen then I'm waiting for it. Let's hope we get the same release date.
Not really odd and there already is a 7" (1024x600) which is on the small size. The 1280x800 resolution goes well with the new screen sizes.
The specs:
In one word, yes. It's gone from a brick to a designer tile in two months. You do wonder what they were doing in January. It makes the XOOM look like a brick and has gone after iPad in a big way. It should be a great success.
I find that one very strange if it is true because you'd have to be mad to order the original over the new design. I can't see anyone buying them.

Beauty and the beast springs to mind. It’s a 10.1 for me. Only a slight concern about Touch Wiz and with it the possible hassle of Honeycomb updates but that can be overcome. So just give me a preorder page.

It appears now that the UK will the getting the original Tab10.1 (fatter one) now to be called Tab10.1V. We may not see the new 10.1 at all in Europe:

The UK TAB has an EU warranty. Looking around the UK site it looks like they only have an international warranty on notebooks. So it could well be a problem. You’re best off asking Samsung support.
You would hope so but nothing would surprise me at this point in time.
