Why include one at all then?
Good question. It's selling point, although just epeen some for geeks, “look at how much memory it’s got”. It’s there because some phones just did not have the memory and required an expansion slot so it’s included in the package. The spec looks good if it’s still there in new devices. There is nothing wrong with having one but if you provide higher spec’d models then why bother. I would have thought that for most of the buying public 16GB would be sufficient. In this case the desire to have the lightest tablet has probably been the driver for Samsung not to include a slot. I think they've gone in the right direction with this one but should have upped the ante and just gone with 32GB model.
Anyway are you going to go for one of these or something else?
