I haven’t played many videos but those that I have played have been faultless. Again I’ve also been using Mobo Player. I heard that TouchWiz UX comes with more codecs so more encoding may not be necessary.

Someone has received the TouchWiz UX updated and it appears the it will be coming in the next two weeks.
I was after a new laptop or a tablet and after much deliberation have plunged for the Galaxy Tab, seriously considered the Asus Transformer + Keyboard dock but after much thinking I doubt I'd use the keyboard as for me portability was the key. Now I like the experience on my SG2 and thought a bigger device will be much better!
Got it from the auction place with the 15% off voucher
£341.48 inc delivery for 16gb will be more than enough for me.
Will be my first tablet device and looking forward to it, I know this has less connectivity ports etc but with Google music and tethering I think it'll be a good companion for every day use! Reading PDFs on a laptop is tad annoying and on a phone too small and on a kindle formatting is not right! If reading books on this fares well then my Kindle will be sold to put towards the tab. I bought a kindle to start reading more but that never materialised!
Any recommendations on cases? Got a £20 gift voucher to spend on that rainforest site.

You get allocated them based on activity I think.
Got it via email to use in electronics, tbh not sure of the reason why I got it but they were emailed out on Friday to selected users.

Two of us have the official Samsung Book Case (see a few posts above) but it is not available on the rainforest. There won’t be many around until it’s launched here.

be cool to see another review... but please don't do it! don't stick a screen protector on it! why how could you starch it? surely before you carry it anywhere it will be in a case?

I am currently running mine with Touch Wiz and a modified Kernel and I have to say I am impressed with the speed/smoothness. Not liking the grey bar at the bottom though... Samsung should have kept it black.

Lol I'm quite accident prone and clumsy at times! It's not me I'm worried about its more when others use it! I've already dropped my sg2 a few times but luckily no scratches and that had my heart pulsing lol.
