Initially it does but I think Movie mode actually is better.

Wasn't sure if the TV is faulty or it's just how I looks not sure I like it, kinda getting use to it I need to try a 4k external source and see what it looks like.

And some talk this does have local dimming but others saying it doesn't, yet on Samsung it does say UHD dimming, is this not the same?

the NU8000 isn't FALD so no chance of the NU7400 having FALD.

It will be edge lit. The NU8000 is the much better buy IMO.
