Well, if OLED is like plasma, I had some uneven wear on 4:3 borders (watched a lot of 4:3 TV series) And now since I watch mostly 2:35 movies, you can tell there's a difference between 2:35 border and rest of the screen.

if you are still looking, and played the waiting game, Samsung now folded - from hotuk - not sure what is difference between q7&q6 though.

from Currys' website subsequently saw Samsung have abandoned the industry nomenclature of UHD approved (or whatever it is) and
designate Q6 HDR1000, Q7 HDR1500 - good on them let's break the Cartel.

Got the Q7F 49" for £1049 with the HW360 sound bar and sub from Richer Sounds (Price matched one of Euronics websites). Plus a 6 year warranty. The waiting game paid off in the end.

I went for the 55" Q6F and is a big improvement over my 46" Samsung. With OLED prices not going down and the screen burn in threat I decided to bite the bullet.

Very impressed with it especially sub £1k bracket + free soundbar.
