I bought a new Samsung Spinpoint HD501LJ 500GB SATA 2 Hard Disk Drive off ebaY in February, the other day it started clicking and not booting up. Instead of running tests etc on it to try and get it going again i was just going to send it back and get a new one.

Do i send it back to the Seller on ebaY or Samsung, though? :confused:
 
Personally I'd try and RMA it myself as Rexo who do the Samsung RMAs are normally very good. I would note though their website indicates that they will be moving offices and not to attempt to RMA disks between this Thursday and 1st June.
