Exactly, never seen the point of having a fairly expensive 'backup' anything!! Gfx is on cpu usually and Jeff has plenty of backups spare when absolutely required for a few weeks
Jeff has done me proud this way, its great for testing new hardware .

What's happened to them. They were the go-to quality brand for a lot of people in the past.
If see they got you with their clever marketing then. Overpriced, average quality parts that they may aswell be selling without warranty as they rarely seem to honour it.
Yes they are!
Due around Wednesday this week!
Also quite a few Asrock deals are now live in stock too, 6700 XT at £309, 6800 XT at £499, 7900 XT at £725 and 7900 XTX at £889
Awesome, thanks for the update!
Anyone got any views on the Asrock vs the Sapphire Pulse? The Pulse seems to list a higher core clock and is 8pin+6pin rather than 2x 8 pin.
im sure my pulse is 8+8 pin, according the the amd software when at +15% powerlimit it can draw 365 watts. thats if your talking about the 7900xt.
You may as well go with a 6950 XT.I'm thinking of biting the bullet and going with the AsRock 6800XT. I was waiting on the 7800, but i think it will be priced higher than that for not much more performance. Someone tell me I'm doing the right thing
6700 XT
Yeh, but then I might as well go with a 7900XTYou may as well go with a 6950 XT.
Sapphire really are top notch, I've had a couple pulse cards and they have been really solid, good build quality, premium seeming components.Awesome, thanks for the update!

Thanks. I think I'll save the £9 and wait a few days more for the Sapphire. My current RX480 is a Sapphire Nitro and haven't had any issues with it over the years.Sapphire really are top notch, I've had a couple pulse cards and they have been really solid, good build quality, premium seeming components.
I've no personal experience of the asrock cards, but haven't seen or heard anything bad, they are very new to the gpu space though. Having only started a couple generations back.
Looks like a nice fit. Im currently running a 3080 fe in mine. Ive spaced it out so the face of the gpu is pretty close to the mesh. This helps it bring only cold air in, and gives a little space behind it, which helps with the through cooler of the fe, and also helps with cables/tubes. It looks like you have yours in the default location? Temps good?Just redeemed my voucher too; thank you to those who pointed out how it's done!
Man, what a graphics card. It's very quiet too which was surprising and VERY different to my old Gigabyte Eagle 3060Ti. Managed to squeeze mine in to my SSUPD Meshlicious case and it's nearly the height of the case. It also runs very cool too, with so far only seeing about 66c tops:
Eh?by your 3700K
It depends what you want from it for price paid, it's highly tweakable though, I can get power down to my stock 3080 power usage and the XTX slaughters it at 4K native, so that's an amazing from me.Eh?
edit - nm, missing a 1
Seems my Pulse is decent but not amazing.
