My motherboard (in sig) says it has 8 x SATA 3Gb/s connectors.

Does that mean I can use sata3 hard drives?

Also is there a limit on size for this board? Could I put a 3TB in it?

Thanks

SATA 3Gb = SATA 2
SATA 6Gb = SATA 3

SATA 3 drives will still work with your board anyway, since they're all backwards compatible with each other. HDDs dont' saturate SATA 2 speeds anyway.

As for the limit I'm not sure, the 3TB should be ok to use as a secondary storage drive, but may not be possible to use as a boot drive.

As He mentions above, But you can have a 3T Drive if you wish..
But I think it's the Board with the Yellow, Red & green, & i forget the other colour Ram Track, If it is, then that Board can Take DDR2 OR DDR3 Ram, But it can't take both kinds at once.

Either DDR 2 Or DDR 3 & I'd go with the DDR3 since it's newer. :)

A Lot of Mobo's are now SATA 6Gb/s which is better.

Just yellow, red and green, no 4th colour.

CodeMeRight: I'd recommend reducing your sig to meet the forum rules: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/faq.php?faq=vb_board_usage#faq_vb_memberlist_how
