"SATA is found running in IDE MODE!",
"Press <Y> to enable AHCI mode or <N> to continue IDE mode operation..."

I normally just press any key to continue, how do i get rid of this message and my hard drive back to its normal state?. I've read on google about reinstalling windows etc but is there anyway i can avoid any hassle?

Thanks.

As far as I am aware you should run them in ide mode achi doesn't really add anything you need unless you need hot swapping and native command queuing I'd leave it on ide mode.
