It's no coincidence that most of the bottom 7 cars are Mercedes powered. The new E10 fuel certainly doesn't like them

I think they'll make Q3 as long as they get a clean lap. Will likely be towards the bottom end of Q3 though. They sure dont look as strong here at all. However I doubt we've seen true pace yet, I still suspect 5-8 tenths off pace for Lewis as long as he can actually stick a lap.

Merc genuinely look like going out in Q2 this weekend

I think they'll be best of the rest again. Compare FP1 and FP2 yesterday, in FP1 Merc struggled, in FP2 they were not so far off, and then FP3 looked a lot like FP1. The conditions in Quali and the Race are much closer to what they were in FP2 than what they were in FP1 and FP3. I think in the cool evening air, under the lights, we'll see Merc doing okay. Still well off the Ferraris and Red Bulls but still ahead of the rest of the pack.
