Been having this argument about Sausages at work with my mate. Now I love sausages. Frozen ones, Butchers Fresh and the more continental ones available from a Deli.

I reckon the best Sausage is the humble Pork Banger. Grilled till Golden brown and served on a Cibatta roll with a bit of vintage cheddar and Mustard. Don't get me wrong the Spanish Chorizo and the German Bratwurst have their own merits and really do stand upto scrutiny should the occasion require it. He is adamant that English, Welsh or Scottish Sausages are horid and puts them on par with American Hotdogs. For its the freshly made banger for me. It's so versatile as well.

Whats your favourite ?

Oooooh Yer

A quick check downstairs tells me I have 6 in the fridge, you have just sorted out my lunch for me :D

Dragon sausage, they sell them in Swansea market, leeks, garlic, chilli, peppers and dragon meat.

Burn your mouth but my god they are good.

I am quite partial to those Scottish Square Sausage(Lorne) Fits perfect onto two rounds of bread with a bit of Tommy K. They do seem to have a higher lard content though

Lincolnshire, grilled in a very small amount of olive oil, with some black pepper. A few grilled onions, red sauce in a freshly baked baguette. Small amount of flora, absolutely beautiful.

Man, my mouth is watering… I need a sausage baguette with red sauce and onions now.. Thanks mate.. LOL

ASDA do some lovely sausages in their best range. I'm quite partial to pork and leek.

Any the butchers in our city quite often wins best banger type awards. Think they've jsut won best banger in the midlands.

Best served with scrambled eggs and mushrooms and a couple of toasted/buttered onion bagels! Mmm.... Think im off to ASDA!!!

The best sausage I ever had in my life was a fresh one from a local butchers, cooked in a bit of onion and gravy, served with cheesy mash. It was fantastic.

I know know what I want for dinner. haha.

Mmmmmmmmmmm Cheddar Mash

Ive had some chicken sausages that havent been too bad. Must be grilled and eaten with rice and a vegetable and they have practically not fat on them too (which is a plus point for me btw).
