Yep! And its bloody lovely in a sausage. Can't remember where I had them now, it was somewhere in Shropshire....

Try it if you ever see it for sale. It's a really nice intresting taste, so long as you have no qualms about eating Bambi.

leaving aside the more continental style chorizo and similar, the best "normal" sausages are Nurnberg Bratwurst, these are fantastic all purpose sausages.

I love pork sausages... Some of the best ones i have found are the Ultimate Pork sausages from sainsburys and some cheepo Asda ones 16 for £2 were great... I love lorne sausage the real scotch sausage is the best but the square sausage that they used to have at costco was great too... (Big block of slices for £5...

Years ago a guy that i worked for gave me some greek/cyprit(Or however its spelt) spicy sausage that was great...

Did have some butchers choice spicy ones from Sainsburys... They were flipping awfull!

had a big argument with a vegetarian once regarding sauage contents:

her: they are disgustin' - I really don't know how you can eat them
me: they taste nice tho'....
her: pahhh - they are full of balls and brains!
me: well - you are what you eat :D

my fave was Bernard M's turkey n pork - but I can't find those anywhere now.
their turkey ones are quite nice tho'.

ones to avoid are chicken...putrid.

Either square sausage when a relative brings a fresh supply down from Scotland (Along with the black puddings!) or I've recently discovered some nice beef and pork ones from Tesco, they're lovely.

He is adamant that English, Welsh or Scottish Sausages are horid and puts them on par with American Hotdogs.
Your friend is talking rubbish. What sausages dose he like? Don't tell me he's from the continent and nothings good enough unless it's his local sausage.

Tbh I like all types apart from beef, which taste like dodgy burgers. I eat cold sausages like salami (Italian and German) by the tonne, chorizos nice on pizza, and you can't beat some nice French garlic sausage. I agree with you though. You can't beat a good quality, plain pork sausage.
