Save it for the black stuff... OcUK Manchester Meet 3

just hours to go till saxo wasting time. :p

hahahahahahahahahaha

Just hours to go before you strain the rover so hard it dies?

You got to remember, we have done this meet twice already, and EVERY TIME, a rover has had problems (ok, ok so it was the same rover, but ha!). You ARE bringing a spare gasket aren't you?

I think Andy was bringing an AA man, an altenator, a battery, suspension, wing mirrors, and anything else likely to either fall off or break! :p

Nah, it'll be westy bringing those this time :p (prays that nothing goes wrong with the SEi).

Just spent all morning/afternoon cleaning the cars. They're looking awesome. Also just heard from westy. He's on the M6 Toll Road. Should be here soon :)

When your front starts to drift (understeer) all you need to do is lift off the throttle and the wheels should grip again (Long as the road surface aint slippy) i would expect any sudden pressing the clutch in might unsettle the car.

Key i suppose is to be a smooth progressive driver, rather than throwing the car about.

If you have a limited slip diff then getting on the power helps you out :) It pulls the front of the car around.

Have fun tomorrow, no speeding :p

Might head up for a few beers later ;)

All ready to go, had a bit of a technical hiccup earlier with the exhaust can coming loose on thw way into work which wasnt appreciated. I dont know whats gone on but it seems somewhat close to the swinging arm now but its fine. just adjusted and lubed the chain up, I will go out tonight and fill her up to at least get me to the services :)

Its about 90 miles for me from here, so I should be there in plenty of time if i leave at 9.15am :) If I am falling behind then i will have to crank it up a notch :)

How long will the group be at the services for to wait for late arrivals?
