Saving Sessions / Demand reduction thread

Oh btw that saving session calculator someone linked above already will tell you todays baseline!
I am starting at 1.18kwh for the session, plus my net export, so should be good for almost 6kwh total I think.
Doubt I will make £15, but should be in for at least £10

We actually had just enough brightness during the afternoon that the battery is at 87%, so more than enough.

Our baseline is basically nothing as I don't discharge at this time nor really use any grid. Should hopefully be able to get 4.5kWh out in the hour, though the wife is nagging about it being too late for the oven to go on for dinner so it might be less towards the end.

That was moi, I also should net at least £12 which should cover nearly 5 days worth of electricity, maybe a week if it keeps dropping to 14p on agile.

The link MKW was referring to

I need to get it bookmarked after I have entered my api key so I don't have to faff about getting it every time lol

My baseline is 0.48kwh.
Best I did through the previous sessions was import 0.17kwh.
So I can't really make much.

These saving sessions are awesome as they're covering much of my winter electricity bill. I'll have made about £70 in total in the four sessions after tonight. November electricity bill was £36 so it's £34 towards December which will be similar.

This is my first year.

Does anyone remember what last year's dates were? Is it similar?

Yep, was discussing this with Hippo a few days ago and he had all the emails still

I managed to send out 4.8kWh this time.

After all that, the battery was at 32% by the end. Its giving a lot more now its warmer. Battery temp was at 21C, just in the sweet spot.

I managed to export 7.5kWh, battery just hitting 10% SOC.

My baseline is 1.12 kWh exported, so that's 6.38 kWh at £2.25 = £14.35, but obviously that's going to be eroded a little by some grid import tonight.

The session on the 29th gained £33.76

My brothers with Out Fox The Market, and they were paid 29/11 £4.50 per kWh and 1/12 £5.50 per kWh, he doesn't know what tonight's is yet.

What battery system do you have, do you not have an option to pause discharge between certain times?
Solis inverter with pylontech batteries. Not sure if the Solis has the ability to pause discharge without setting the charging rate to 0. Much less of a faff to nip into the garage and turn the batteries and inverter off TBH than playing about with the rubbish app or menus on the inverter.

Ended up using £1.12 from the grid after my battery got to 10%, which took me through to 2am charging session, then there's the £1.07 to charge those 6.38 kWh (not including losses), so net gain £12.16.
