Saving Sessions / Demand reduction thread

You only get the extra 11p for anything over your baseline though. So if you normally export say 2 kWh between 6-7pm, then you won't get anything extra for that component, only the export above and beyond the "normal".

Most of us probably do have some baseline export in that time window now at this time of the year.

Really? you guys are all doing better than me then!.

I looked at the last few really nice days we have had and for me my export is fully dried up by 4:30 and by 5:30pm my generation is practically nothing!.

Most of my panels are SE, but I still had 1.05 kW at 18:00 on Sunday, and generation only stopped completely at 20:00. I certainly have room to force export of course, but it does eat a bit of the available headroom. Then again, at 11p/kWh it's not much loss either way! :p

I've opted in, but with a NW array I'm usually exporting quite a bit at that time. Fortunately when I force export it'll send out 5kW from the hybrid inverter plus anything from the solar inverter too, so potentially can get 6.5-7.0kW export if it is sunny.

I'm surprised there's one of these so late in April to be honest.

I’m normally going a bit of export at this time, depends on if we are cooking or not. Either way, I’ll be exporting solar and the full 6kw from the battery.

I’m still generating 2.6kw now on my west facing panels. Come peak summer I’m still generating out to 9pm.

Edit: a few days ago I was still doing 2.3kw at 1900.
