New email from givenergy about their setup.

The last line is highly questionable.

The app connects your GivEnergy battery to grid services events, where your stored energy is exported to support the grid at times of peak demand.

In return, you’ll earn around £2/kWh exported, money straight back into your pocket, while helping keep Britain’s energy supply greener and more secure.

I've not received a notification yet, but you can opt in on the Octopus website.

I got the email about 30 mins ago.

Exported 5.2kwh so approx £1.25 for just the bonus export alone.

That will pay for most of my import costs today. There is the usual export payment.

6.6 kWh taking into account the baseline, so an extra £1.58.

Started cooking dinner at 18:00, so lost some there, but not to worry its not mega bucks.

5.0kWh exported. Luckily it was sunny this morning as we've used 25kWh today which would otherwise have rinsed the battery!
