I did however get to out on a sunday with my old dears as I had my first car already insured.

He kept saying "you really are ready now", but I just couldn't be arsed. Sure enough I passed first time and haven't had an accident yet, so I suppose they worked!I must have had around 80 - 100hrs worth of lessons!

.If it is taking someone 40 lessons to be to test standard (which is just that, not a good driver) then I would have to question the instructor's ability, as much as the pupil's.
