Evening all,

Well having just done my first week doing a new job roll (apprentice baker) Friday & Today (Sat) were a challenge for me as I had to be up at 2am and I finished at 11am which was nice! But today (Saturday) I’m really tired , ive just had 4 hours odd sleep and its now 6:06 and the gf wants to do something (she lives 20mins away by car) but I don’t have the heart to tell her I just want to stay in tonight as I feel like dog just now even after a shower!.

Who else can’t say no to there gf ?

Am I the only one not seeing the issue here? Either go and pick her up and bring her back to yours and relax, or go round there and relax and enjoy eachothers company?!

I think you mean 'be a man and just say no'. If he is tired, he shouldn't go out just because his gf tells him to.

Well I did say to him to explain the situation if he doesn't want company to just explain it to her. I think a categoric no is excessively macho (which my greek blood should provide me with plenty

), and in spite of being the epitome of masculinity I don't like exerting such authority on people be they my gf or not.

It’s not that I don’t want the company hell if I makes her happy id do anything , but I’m at the point where I don’t feel like doing anything as im tired. And I hate to let people down. As I know she will be bored the rest of the evening and she will just text and moan that she’s bored. & just to go to hers n fall asleep i find is pointless.
