a release with no stock what a load of tosh!
bought everything else just needed cpu and mobo.
Edit: think im going to go for a 2700k and save myself some cash.
My i7 920 D0 is doing great for gaming. But for video editing, I think 6 cores is what I need...but paying £500? Yowzers. Think I will wait for the other batch to arrive. Am I right in assuming that these are the only two 6 core chips Intel are making in the 2011 range? Or are we due more with better pricing?
For gaming im gonna stick with my 2600k at them prices! maybe next year but then Ivy bridge will be out and that will put a spanner in the works!
is Ivy bridge going to be on a different LGA than SB-E ?Same for meis Ivy bridge going to be on a different LGA than SB-E ?
ordered a 2700k and a P8Z68-v Pro Gen3 board
hope the 2 times 8x lanes are kind to my 6970s

The full 8 core version will be released next year:

However, clockspeeds look relatively low and TDP is 150W. Ivy Bridge-E is supposedly being released next year.

What are the best SB-E mobos?
Any E-ATX's that are all blac/ black and lime green?
