Hi,

I have an Asus 5PK Pro motherboard with 2 * WD Raptor 74 gb's attached to them as RAID 0.

I think one of the drives may be faulty so downloaded the WD usual scanning tool which can be run from Windows. But it does detect the drives, assuming it might be because it is RAID'ed.

Any ideas what I can do, would I need a special RAID scanning software to pick up the drives ?

Thanks,

If you install the latest Intel Matrix Storage Manager it should be able to identify whether there is a problem with your array. It won't do a diagnostic and identify what the problem is precisely (AFAIK) but will definitely identify which drive is failing, if at all.

Make sure you back up your data ASAP to avoid complete loss.
