We called it a Leavers Ball. our year 11 one was pretty rubbish from what i remember, think the food was a BBQ!

Just go down officers club and buy a 50 quid suit

I boycotted our Yr11 leavers ball, just got all my mates back to mine for a massive party, was so much better than the stories of the Leavers Ball. :D

Yr13 I attended the leavers ball, as I was 18 and the venue had a bar, got nice and drunk that night. :D

Fresher's Ball when I came to uni was a right let down though, cost lots to get in, drinks cost a lot, and the whole event was just naff.

ok, so our school prom is getting closer and closer unfortunatly.

why unfortuantely?!!!

Prom night was one of, if not THE best nights of my LIFE!!!

I wore a nice tuxedo.

Hired a limo to pick up best mates, baught a few bottles of smirnoff and a couple of cigars on the way, got to the prom boat at about 8pm, partied like ****, then got back home at 7am.

just wear anything.. people at my school were dressed in tracksuits to purple pimp-suits with diamond encrusted canes.

well, me and a few m8s have a limo booked, looks like a dinner suit then:D

i didnt know it was called anything els apart from a prom, all the teachers at my school and everyone els calls it a prom, so thats why i do :)

thanks for feedback:rolleyes:

says it all tbh... a big oh dear for you :p

but granted, end of year ball is awesome. its the only ball you HAVE to attend. its like a huge orgy but with formal wear and crappy punch. at least ours was anyway.

Sounds like a waste of cash which could be better spent on the drink, food and music. The 5th form leaving do wasn't great as half the year were paranoid the Police would turn up and nick the booze. The upper sixth was just a general **** up down at the Bridge (local pub); no dressing up and nobody professing eternal love when they would never see each other again.

Finally please shoot the complete Muppet who renumbered the School years. Along with GCSEs it's probably just to cover up lowering standards.
