Scolari sacked!

Are you pleased with this move Johnny? Given that they are 4th in the table with CL on the line i'm not so sure.. Close season surely?

Not sure if pleased is the right word, that depends on what happens next I guess.
We're 4th and falling rapidly and struggled through what should've been a fairly easy group in the CL and I couldn't see a way past Juve anyway.
It's been obvious for months that things aren't right on the pitch, the defending has been woeful and panic stricken at times and we've been clueless in attack, the problem has been that he hasn't been able to change a single thing tactically. They must've put hours in on the training ground and those faults are still very evident and he never made a good substitution that changed the pattern of play or reacted to what the opposition was doing.

please please please bring back avram grant

will make chelsea a bigger joke than spurs

He got us in to a champions league final and lost the title by 2 points.

Grant gets unjustified criticism.

John terry missed an open goal from a yard on Saturday and was one kick away from winning the champions league, sometimes there's only so much a manager can do.

They must have someone in mind already going by the clubs statement.

Spalletti 7/2

Lost the plot aint even the word! What are the Chelsea camp doing!

Albeit, Chelsea have had some hit and miss games lately, but sacking Scolari? kinda of a WTF moment?!

Couple of fans wanting Zola or Di'Matteo to take his place.

Whatever happened to working your way up the ladder and earning your position?

Can't think of many high profile managers currently available.
I can't see any successor being given a huge amount of money ether.

I think elements at Chelsea were very arrogant in assuming (a bit like at real) that anyone could be the manger and they'll still win because of the money. I don't think English football works like that, though the money dose clearly help. You need the belief and tenacity which few managers have.

Having said that I think they should have let him see the season out.
