Scolari sacked!

I've got a wonderful feeling that one of 2009's highlights is going to be watching the implosion of Chelsea. :D

Indeed! I wonder how this is going to affect players like Deco, who Scolari brought in to balance up the team (but has been disappointing). Especially the Brazilian / Portugese connection they had, any new manager isn't going to be able to fill those same shoes. I think we will see some faces come and go now. Fans calling for Zola are insane, seriously guys. You need someone with greyer hair than that!

'The Porto right back' who is bosingwa has been the best fullback all season

That's because he leaves his opponents on the floor with a roundhouse kick.

And on the subject of Chelsea, Abramovich is an idiot... should never have sacked the 'Great One'.

We need someone that would give these over paid pre-madonnas a kick up the back side.

Hiddink might be that man but I couldn't see Frank Rijkaard or Zola being able to stand up to the numerous egos in the Chelsea dressing room.

Most of them being paid over £100k a week and can't beat the likes of Hull (no offense Tigers fans)!

They need to start playing for the badge and quick!

nope, he was the manager who took the best managers squad and ran with it, then ruined it, then ran away.

Who in the current squad did Mourinho buy, Carvalho, Kalou, malouda, mikel, the porto right back and Drogba? he "tells" everyone he didn't buy Cashley or Ballack, and off the top of my head I can't name anymore.

JM signed Carvalho, Essien and Drogba all three of which have been amongst the best players in the PL and he signed some rubbish too of course (Boulahrouz, Tiago, Kezman etc.) Ranieiri signed some good ones, (Lampard, Makele, Robben..) but JM also inherited some rubbish off him that needed sorting, Veron, Mutu & Crespo to name 3.
The best squad Chelsea ever had was a mixture of the 2, the best manager Chelsea ever had was JM, can't really see how anyone could think otherwise:confused:

Welcome to a world where yes means no, left means right and up means down.

I would rather the PL got rid of Benitez all together, send him packing back to Spain... can't stand the guy.
He's a legend

Chelsea aren't not the team they once were, the wheels have fallen off.

Doubt they will do much this season, should be a good fight for the last champions league place.

Who is going to want to go to a struggling Chelsea, mid season, after 3 quality managers have just been sacked, in successive seasons.

i only read the first page.

imo this was going to happen, you spend millions upon millions on already top players, then after a year or 2 they have gone past there best, at the end you are left with a squad that is past there best, and on this im talking from rite at the start few years back when chelsea first started spending, if any of them had brains they would have seen this future, with top top players (or so called top players) not performing, because they are just past there best, as one above post said somewhere, they need to start fresh.

the bottom line is, the owners wanted success NOW, not later, NOW, if they had brains and brought players through, now you would be looking at a awesome team, but they had no patience. what you get with a owner knowing **** all about football. HERE IS ZE MONEY NOW GO SPEND.

i think it was a buisness oportunity gone wrong.

not sure if scolari deserved to go, but hmm the ****** team does.
