Deus Ex is maybe the greatest game of all time on the PC, but remember it's a few years old now so you'll have to see past the dated graphics.

Indeed! Deus Ex is a work of art.

So good luck using that 47 quid to buy the rest of the PC then.
tbh its the only limiting factor in most modern PCs.
I've yet to see a game that can't be RUN on a sub 2 year old system that's got a graphics card worth over £70 at time of buying.
and not just that but you can use the PC for WORK as well.

anyway.
PC>Consoles FACT!

PC>Consoles FACT!

pfft, yes this will be a good area of conversation. >_< PC != Console. Different purposes, different markets, different games, different people playing on them. It's just so childish to have to belittle something you don't want to be a part of.

Me? I'm happy with both ;)

Good luck with your £280 gaming rig then.

Even a PS3 is cheaper than a "nice gaming rig".

I'm not a console fanboy, I love my PC gaming, but I'm also not willing to be blinkered by stupid excuses such as pricing.

Consoles are sold at a loss for every console they make... i believe the xbox360 has just after a year managed to start making a profit for every console they sell due to the hardware getting cheaper

they make their money on the games, or atlest the people making the games.

Ding ding, winner. I don't see why someone would choose to cut such a great area as console gaming out, purely by spite. Sure, if you don't have enough money to buy them, there's not much to do, but passing up Final Fantasies, Marios, and Burnout/Forza/PGR just because? Your loss.
