Scrubs - does anyone else think it isn't even remotely funny?

Season 1 - 4 were all good, 5 wasn't bad and then 6 was meh, 7 was crap and I've not even watched the later ones.

First few seasons were actually OK but after that I agree with everyone else it declined sharply. Plus the fact that I work in a hospital started to make if feel rather annoying.

It was brilliant but it declined after season 4 or 5 and then got atrocious at the end.

Absolutely, Series 7 was absolutely appalling tv. It was just terrible. The new interns were awful and the jokes were ageing and done before.

Series 1-3 are the best, with 4 and 5 being relatively good, but 6 and 7 nosedive. I've seen bits of 8 and hated every second of it, the intern with no compassion, Kelso retiring, really bad season. For this reason, I won't be watching the 9th (I didn't even realise there was one until I read this).

I don't find it as funny as I used too... But have seen them all multiple times...

Then again, I've seen Friends episodes loads of times but it never gets old :D

The first 2 seasons were decent, after that it went down hill fast.

The best character by far was the janitor, If he wasn't in the show it'd be even worse.

I enjoyed Scrubs and found it funnier then say Friends and The Simpsons. But I also like The Mighty Boosh...

Although Community is better than all of them.

Never really worked out why people find it so amusing tbh. It's alright, don't get me wrong. Fairly clever characterisation, some funny jokes. But it's not anything special.

There's something about Scrubs whereby I find it a bit hard to just sit and watch a single episode when it's being shown on TV, sort of out of context.

A few years back, I broke my arm and my Brother had all the box sets for the time. So I watched it back to back from the start and absolutely loved it.

It did go down hill towards the end of the show as others have mentioned.

The girlfriends brother loves it, watches hours and hours of it and can recite jokes from each episode.

I think it's absolute rubbish.

I really quite enjoyed the first few seasons.
The later seasons were nowhere near as good (or more to the point as funny), I watched it at that point more as a drama with comedic elements to find out what happened to the characters.

I never watched the last series without said characters because it defeated the entire point.

At it's best, it was very very good if you got the humour, at it's worst...about watchable.

The other thing that was always interesting about the show, at least at the start, is how real Doctors in the US said of all the medical shows on TV, Scrubs bizarrely was the closest to what it's really like as a Junior Doctor.
