Lo all,
I have a Gigabyte DS3 board, 2 hard drives (one IDE and one SATA) and 2 optical drives (again, one IDE and one SATA).
The 2 SATA devices are plugged into one of the two orange SATA ports of the motherboard and both work, i.e. a CD will play and the hard drive can store info.
The 2 IDE devices also work and do what they should.
However, whenever I turn my PC on Windows tries to install a new device. Device Manager shows that I have SCSI devices and both have yellow exclamation marks next to them.
Am I doing something fundamentally stupid and how do I get rid of the New Hardware wizard?
cheers in advance.
