My BSD box has a 36GB scsi in it and have kinda run out of space. Would you upgrade to a 73GB scsi, or go for IDE? Is IDE more stable these days?

I've had bad experiences of ide dying - but not had a problem with scsi.

Cost wise ide without a doubt and if u concerned stick them in raid1. Cheap enough at the price. Seagate 7200.10's performing really well at the moment.

and, on the flip side, for reliability.. SCSI win's hands down.

depends on your priorities, cost=IDE, Reliability=SCSI.

you pay's your money...

(I just bought some SCSI Kit. I'm Biased!)
