Ive just done a firmware upgrade to sort out the repeat alarms.

Phone runs far far quicker, but the logos are not as nice.

All in all its worth the flash but i hope they release one soon to make it
look nice again.

Are the T-Mobile ones branded on the actual handset?

I find my orange c902 is rather slow, and has been since I got it out of the box. Is there an update that I could try?

IceAx, is the firmare update that you speak of for all networks?

Mines pretty swift to be honest, doesn't feel slow at all.

Yup, there is a release for all networks.

Don't use the over air update built into the phone, download the SE software for updating your handset.

This made mine run a LOT quicker - but the icons are not as nice anymore.

I originally started my contract with a K850i....touchy buttons seemed to glitch a lot and would lag sometimes,until i dropped it and the screen cracked. I had insurance so got a nwe one within two days.....few months later the middle touch button would constnatly press itself therefore send txts constantly lol. Don't know if it just happened or it started happening and i chucked it off the floor and stood on it(was very drunk and was annoying me) but yeh i took it apart and it was built very cheap,cheap plastic with crappy clips....insurance replaced it with a C902.

This is what the k850 should have been really,REALY well built and feels totally solid. The metal doesnt mark at all unlike the k850. Easier to navigate without the touch buttons and the new spinny menu screen is quite cool. Both my mates have the N95 8gb and they are totallly different phones. I want to take half decent pics,txt and phone so i like the c902 but if you wanna browse the net,have satnav and play movies then the n95 is the one to go for. The 8gb feels a lot better made than the old n95 aswell as being a bit slimmer and faster. Looking at the pics from a night out both camera are about the same, both big but with not a lot of detail.

I think the battery life is a lot better on the c902 though,as you would hope. Music playback through the speaker the N95 is slightly louder but a bit more tinny from what i've heard.

I don't have the light option in organizer

How are you finding the phone - speed, crashing? Apparently things are a lot better if you debrand...

have you installed the SE PC Suite as well as the update application? The SEMCBOOT i think is the Sony Ericsson Memory Card Boot ROM/Flash memory. Pretty sure i had the same problem for my K800 and had to install the PC suite which in turn installs all the drivers you should need for the phone also.
