Do you think the Samsung drives are better? I read a review of a group of 250gb drives on the net and it said the Seagate one was noisy and slower than the Samsung model.

i would go with the seagate from reading the reliability reviews over at storagereview.com

my seagate should be here on thursday so just a little more time to wait. got my hannsG 196D arriving too.

why are you looking at 7200.9's? dont bother concidering them.

Thing is 160g is the size i am after. I suppose i could think about a 200g Seagate 7200.10. Doesn't matter if it is 8mb or 16mb?
