Hi Guys

I have had this Seagate Barracuda for a while now, not many months old (80Gb).

I bought an enclosure today and fitted it, then it wouldn't show up in My Computer. Loaded the disk management tool to find out there was a Partition and a logical drive on the same drive.

I deleted the partition and created a new one, giving it a drive letter.

I am just wondering if it is safe to delete this logical drive?

A logical drive is just an allocated area with an extended partition, it's the old fashioned way of having multiple partitions on the disk from the days when the OS could only see a single primary partition.

As long as your happy that there's nothing in there that you want to keep then it's safe to delete it.
