Has anyone had recent(ish) experience with Seagate drive warranties. Where do I have to send them (don't need an address - just the country), does it make any difference that they're all 'OEM', and what am I likely to get back given that these are old tech (IDE) drives?

I've now got three of them all almost exactly three years old - same batch, same usage, same failure. Too bad I got them when Seagate were still offering five year warranties, eh? :)

Thanks. :)

They're all individual drives bought from OcUK, and warranty checker says they're good until 2011 (or at least the one drive I've checked so far is).

I'm running tests to find out if the drives are really failling or if it's just a few bad sectors (which normally would be fine but becomes a problem when you've got them plugged into a RAID controller).
