Well i'm looking for the best way to run Linux without installing it, and i came across this:

Which looks quite good. What i want to know though is how are the read speeds compared to a similarly priced memory stick (£10) and how much noise does it make? Also, what is the Linux compatibility like? I've just been having a hard time finding any useful reviews on the internet. Thanks for any help you can give :)

It came out over 4 years ago and I don't know if it had a use then but now it's completely pointless now. A USB key will max out USB2, costs nothing, has lower access times, is smaller and has no moving parts. I'd use a decent key like the Corsair Voyager's though.
