Seasonal Warning

Ahh yes today was interesting, the car was understeering like mad with only the slightest of power in 2nd aswell as struggling for grip as I turned onto the dual carriageway

Roads are greasy as hell.

Thanks guys.

I'm about to go to lakeside which involves all kinds of roads and the tyres aren't getting changed till wednesday.

I REALLY wanna go now :p

I'll let you all know if I stick this one in a ditch :p

see you soon!

watch the fog, its quiet bad near lakeside

Honestly, you make out you a driving god at times.

Honestly, you come across as a **** at times, most times.

It was obviously not slow enough otherwise it wouldn't have happened. I know I make mistakes, but I own up to them when they happen.

The original post was aimed to be a warning about the weather and conditions. Not an excuse to comment on what she must have done wrong. Hitting a patch of ice can catch out the most observant of drivers. I find it difficult how people seem to enjoy commenting on things when they know virtually none of the facts.

Not really bothered if i come across as a whatever you called me either, so carry on if it helps you feel bigger.

Like when your power steering went heavy and you crashed because your girly little arms couldn't twizzle the steering wheel fast enough? :p

Stop bitching you pair of fannies :D

Obviously weren't paying attention, going to fast ;)

Sorry just took out my OCUK investigation team annoyance out on you.

Si - Captain Obvious :p

I'm not fussed :)

The bush image was me driving too fast for the conditions, and I hit black ice at around 5am, it was stupid, I was tired, but it was my fault. Live and learn.

The other pic the car hit a bollard at sub 15MPH (I was surprised about the amount of damage, as was the missus), as lopez said, PAS went with no warning, citroen footed that bill fortunately.

As for me calling you a ****, I'm just taking my frustrating day's work out on whomever is at the other end of my keyboard, no offence was meant.

Personal insults are against the rules, regardless of how bad a day you've had it was still uncalled for :).

I decided to clean the car last night to rid all of the anti freeze, this morning a nearly went arse over head :D , opening the door was a different story...

Cue a plethora of 'I was only going 10mph but...' threads as people desperately try to find ways to blame everything but their own mistakes for crashing into things over the next few months..

That once did happen to me actually.

My mate was being a wuss on the ice so I took his car and was showing him the proper way to do handbrake turns. Did this for an hour or so at silly speeds then I went to give him the keys back, turned a corner at 5-10mph and the stupid car slid straight into a kerb, taking a chunk of the front bumper with it, doh!

I drove up a slightly inclined on the way to work at about 25mph, gave it a tiny bit of throttle in 3rd gear and the back end stepped out.

The roads on the shortcut I take to work are narrow country roads, I doubt they ever get gritted.

In other news, I destroyed a Squirrel too. Ran out and sat in the middle of my side of the road, no chance was I swerving in these conditions, hit it straight in the middle. I forgot to check my bumper, I'm expecting a squirrels head to be lodged in the bumper grill.

Crashing into things?

My missus didn't even get into the car this morning before she was on her arse as she walked on some black ice :D
