Seasonic to launch PRIME TX-1600 Noctua Edition power supply

I finally put my new machine together over the weekend and i have to say that it was a lovely PSU to work with but i'm a little upset over the electrical performance.
I'm measuring 11.72V at about 80W and 11.77V at 500W system load, i'm testing with proper multi meter off the 12V rail from the PSU. I guess that's technically within the spec but honestly i was expecting tighter regulation.

Having a silent PC is very important for me. But I am not sure I would tolerate this sort of pricing. I also reject the pricing of the new GPUs.

Not unexpected, I keep my rigs more silent by letting all components on the inside of the case heatsoak more than trying to keep them cool all throughout. This would have course have an impact on how well everything works over time.

But it looks like from some of the comments with the video it's more of an issue if you're at a place with lower input voltages, where amps are higher. Those in 230/240 areas like in the UK are likely only at best to run into the differences when it's running hot.

Still, very interesting to watch.
