I have two hard drives in my PC

My main a 250GB Western Digital SATAII + a 160GB Seagate SATAII

My 160GB appears in the BIOS but not in Windows, the simple question (or I hope it is)

How do I make it appear?

Hope someone can help me cheers.

Go into Drive Management (Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Drive Management) then assign a drive letter and you might need to format it as well. :)

Yeah I would guess its not formatted. Did you have data on it? sometimes the drive gets crupted and only fixed when formatted

The hard drive has never been Formated. It is new straight out the box, is this my problem?

I opened what you told me, not sure if I formatted it, how do I allocate a Drive Letter.

Also I've always assumed the higher Cache Memory a hard drive has the better. My Western Digital is 16mb but scores a Vista score of 5.4 which I think is low.

My Maxtor (which I thought was a segate) is 8mb but could it still potentially be better than my 250GB.

Thanks for this help btw
