I'm planning my next upgrade, I'm currently running a Samsung 4K monitor and a Titan X.
For every game out so far this has been more than enough, however I am a little stretched at Witcher 3 so I'm thinking of what would be best next.

I couldn't careless about 120/144mhz monitors/gaming, as long as I have a smooth fluid experience that's all that matters to me and 60FPS in BF games is nice.

Would I be better getting a second TX or saving a couple hundred quid and getting a G-Sync 4k monitor like this one.

I've only recently jumped to Nvidia again and wonder whether G-Sync is worth the upgrade from a standard 60hz V-Sync user.
 
I'd wait for better 4k G-sync monitors to come out, there should be a few IPS panels coming out soon.

Grab another Titan X (or sell the Titan X and grab 2x 980ti's when they're released) and get an IPS 4K G-sync screen in a few months.
 
I would say second Titan X, though I'd rather say (! pure speculation on my part) sell the TX and buy the new cards when they arrive and then you can have near equivalent performance and be able to buy a new monitor with the saved money. The Witcher 3 is a game that requires a lot of tinkering with settings for high-end PCs to run properly as there are a lot of inefficiencies with general settings (e.g. hairworks tessellation levels). Also, if you haven't already OC'ed your TX you should because there's a lot of headroom on it for that and you will see ~%10 performance increase at least.

Gsync is definitely worth it but there's only 1 Gsync 4K monitor available and it's nothing to write home about.
 
Just trust me on this, at 4k Gsync is not a luxury but an absolute necessity.

When things get rough, and they will, it really takes care of smoothing out your gaming experience.
 
One card with Gsync is a definite plus point. I used a TX for a week with my Rog Swift and it was lovely, but the TX was faulty so sent back and decided to wait a few months.

Am now back on my 780Ti's in SLI and whilst they are technically a bit more powerful than one TX, I have a lot of games that need specific tweaks and fixes to get Gsync and SLI working properly without microstutters.

After loads and loads and loads of testing, SLI and Gsync does not play very well together in quite a lot of games.

One powerful card + Gsync however = brilliant.

I take it when the IPS panels come out they'll be mega money though?
Thought I don't want to buy a crappy monitor if some more are around the corner.

Yeah running the TX @ 1400mhz on the core.

I've noticed there is only one G-Sync 4K monitor out which is a little worrying.
How will this Acer monitor above compare picture/colour quality wise with my current monitor below.

If I currently lock Witcher to 30FPS and run V-Sync I seem to get a better experience than running around 40FPS which is around what I get on Ultra settings average, 2 monitor refreshes per FPS.
How will G-Sync better this?
 
Id wait a few months if you can we should have the ASUS IPS 4k 60hz monitor August/September time.
I love my swift and can't wait for the next gen as I've yet to try a 4k panel.
G-sync is a must though, I got a 2nd TX for now.
 
So if you had to pick playing Witcher 3 would you rather play it with one TX between 35-40FPS G-Sync on, or 60FPS with 2XTX's with a couple of drops below using V-Sync.
 
As before my swift i was plagued with tearing and stutter, I couldn't play non g-sync again.
It will be butter smooth 35-40fps pretty optimal G sync conditions. Stay with the single TX and Just get a 2nd TX as soon as possible :D
 
Yeah the Asus 4K Gync IPS should be out at some point in the next few months, it was announced at the start of the year. Could be pretty expensive though :( but there's sure to be some more joining it not too soon after.
