Security @ Home

I have locks on the doors and you need a correctly shaped piece of metal to start the engine. :p

My car is old, not worth a huge amount and not particularly desirable to thieves so I can't imagine anyone going out of their way to come 'round and steal it. On top of that I live in a quiet cul-de-sac in a decent area so there's not even likely to be any opportunists about.

Intgera: Cat 1 and garaged with 2 locks and a 'garage defender'

Estima: Nothing atall, but I think the new one will come with a factory alarm.

Now camera are hooked up to my pc' via live feed which are a detergent as we have had no trouble since the new bike come.

To be honest, if someone was to take one of your motors and they have similar navigation skills to Cybershot they'll just get lost in the mini roundabouts, park up and leg it anyway :p

Standard manufacturers alarm, try to put it in the Garage if it's free. Garage has a shutter door on it, to which the motors broken so you have to manually wind it up.

Now, if they can get their way round the car without setting off it's sensitive tilt sensor, unwinding the garage door and opening the car without setting off the alarm in the pitch black I'll give 'em the car for free! :D

Or they'd take it the wrong way out of the estate and not be able to get over the speedbumps ;)

My security is living in a nice area. I often leave the doors unlocked (on both the house and the car), cos I'm so forgetful.

Problem is, if they can't nick it, they'll just set fire to it (first hand experience of that!), and I'd rather wake up in the morning to find my car gone than wake up at night to find it in flames dangerously close to my house.

My CTR is parked up on a lit side road behind my terraced house, half on the curb like other residents. I live near the center of a small town, that has plenty of scum to boot.

The car has a standard alarm/imob, and typically most thieves steal the CTR by coming into your house and stealing the keys. The 206 is also kept in the same place with a standard alarm/imob. If anyone wants our cars, they will have to come get the keys really.

Nowt, You could leave the car with the doors open with the keys in, with the V5 on the front seat in it and it still wouldn't get nicked.

In fact, you are considered a security nut if you shut the doors in my road :p

Ah, the benefits of driving a Rover/living in the south
